Scheduling: Here are my suggested travel times, Will Rodgers is a small airport so if you have a different flight time, we can make it work!

• Arrival Flight: Between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on your go-home day

​

• Departure Flight: Between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. that same afternoon
   ​

I’ll meet you at your departing terminal about 1 hour before your flight so you have plenty of time to check in, purchase your puppy’s in-cabin pass, and make it back through TSA without any rush, but not have too much time with your new puppy in the airport! Will Rodgers is a small airport.

Meeting at the Airport: Once you land, feel free to do anything you need before it's time to meet your new puppy. I’ll meet you curbside at your airline’s departure area with your adorable puppy, freshly groomed and ready to fly home with you. There’s no need to rent a car, it is my pleasure to bring your new puppy to the airport!

What I’ll Bring: When we meet, I’ll have everything you’ll need for your flight (besides the carrier, that's you!) Here’s what I’ll usually bring:

• Go-Home Bag: Filled with toys, a litter mate scented blanket, records, and other goodies.

• Treats + chew: I will bring a few treats and a chew or two to keep your puppy occupied.

• Potty Pads: For potty breaks before takeoff and on any layovers

Puppy Travel Carrier: You’ll need to bring an airline approved carrier, order it beforehand so it's ready for go-home day! This is the one I recommend: Travel Carrier  (17” L x 11” W x 11” H)

Puppy’s Boarding Pass: After I hand you your puppy, you’ll go to your airline’s ticket counter to purchase the in-cabin pet pass.

 

• The fee typically ranges from $95-$150, depending on the airline and destination.
   

• You’ll receive a small tag to attach to the carrier, this is your puppy’s boarding pass.

Once you’ve taken care of that, you can pass back through TSA, find your gate, and get ready to go home!

The Time Before Takeoff: You’ll likely have a little time between meeting your puppy and boarding your flight, and that’s a perfect opportunity to help your pup burn a bit of energy before settling in for the ride home. I recommend finding a family bathroom or quiet corner where you can place down a few of the puppy pads I provide. This is important since we don't know what the puppies could catch from the airport floor. After this they can play their little hearts out, chew, and probably give you kisses!​
